2 Basic information
This privacy policy applies to the iOS app "GoodHabits – in 66 days" (hereinafter "the app"), including its home screen and lock screen widgets. It informs you about the nature, scope and purpose of the collection and processing of personal data in connection with the use of the app.
The short version: the app collects no personal data at all. The sections below explain this in detail.
Definitions of the terms used (e.g. "processing" or "personal data") can be found in Art. 4 GDPR (DSGVO).
3 No data collection
The app collects no personal data. There is no account, no sign-in, no cloud sync, no advertising, and no analytics or tracking of any kind. No third-party analytics or tracking frameworks are integrated into the app.
I have no access to your habits, your progress, or any other content you create in the app.
4 Local storage of your habit data
All data you create in the app — habits, daily logs, and progress — is stored exclusively in a local database on your device. Within your device, this data is shared only with the app's widget; it is never transmitted to me or to external services.
If you have enabled a device backup (e.g. iCloud Backup), your locally stored app data may be included in that backup. This backup is performed by Apple on your behalf and is subject to Apple's privacy policy.
Deleting the app from your device permanently deletes all data stored by the app.
5 Notifications
If you set reminders for your habits, these notifications are scheduled and processed locally on your device. No data leaves your device for this purpose. Notification permission is optional and can be revoked at any time in the iOS Settings.
6 Purchases
Optional premium features are unlocked via in-app purchase, processed by Apple through StoreKit. Apple handles the entire transaction — I receive neither your payment details nor your identity. The processing of payment data is subject to Apple's privacy policy.
7 Contact by e-mail
If you contact me by e-mail (e.g. for support requests), I will store the information you provide in order to process and respond to your request. I will not pass on your personal data to third parties without your consent. The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 (1) lit. f) GDPR.
I will delete your data as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected — generally when the respective conversation with you has ended.
8 Your rights
In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right to free information about which personal data I have stored about you, as well as the right to correction, restriction of processing, deletion, and — where applicable — data portability. Since the app itself does not collect any personal data, these rights are relevant primarily to data you provide when contacting me by e-mail.
